THE STRANGE WORLD

It’s a strange world we live in. We can send a missile across the world with a pinpoint accuracy. Yet we have trouble walking across the street to meet a new neighbor. We spend more time watching television than we do connecting with our parents. We say we want to change the world but are not willing to change ourselves. Then the sun sets on our lives and we allow ourselves some time for a deep reflection, we catch a glimpse of the joys we could have experienced, the kindness we could have given and the people we could have been. But by then it’s too late.

By the time most of us wake up to living, it’s time to lie down

ya we ourselves do like this, and at the end we ourselves feel cheated by life. but who is responsible for this. upto some extent we aur selves are...but again life does not always follow the path we had planned, there are surprises, at every junction and we ourselves have to decide which path to follow.

hey, thats a real thoughtful insight into human psych.... well as important it is to enjoy the present, one should not get carried away. The keyword is "balance".
